Hmm, from their website it looks like you needed 198 pts to get $500. If the ratio is 40 raked hands/ticket, you needed 7920 raked hands to get $500. So, it works out to be like a 15x bonus, which isn't horrible. However, as you said the people at the bottom get nothing, so it only works out well for the volume players.
