I don't want to hijack, but what is the deal with 'offshore' casinos. Why did they make casinos build offshore?
I was at the Beau Rivage last spring and got a tour. The entire structure that had gambling involved was built on a series of trusses and floating barge deals. I don't get why they would force this on casinos. I'm missing the benefit that the community gets from that added requirement. Of course I also wonder about riverboat casinos in Iowa that are 30mi from a river. They dig a mote and fill it with water and call the casino a riverboat.
