For what it's worth, at the "Seventh Conference on Gambling and Risk Taking" sponsored by the University of Nevada-Reno and held in 1987, I gave a paper titled "Non-Self Weighting Strategies and Bankroll Requirements." Peter Griffing was the moderator. This material now appears in my book Gambling Theory and Other Topics.
