Him being on the button makes this more plausible, though.
In any case, we know that the old lady is overcalling a bet on the river with any piece of the board. After the turn check I'm more likely putting Jason on AK or some mid pp.
Since we know we aren't getting old lady to fold a better hand, and we think jason is chopping with us or beating us, the question becomes can we get jason to fold a hand like 88 to a river checkraise, when we know we can get the old lady to fold.
Betting doesn't seem right though, to me anyways, because better hands aren't going away with a pot this large and worse hands (like AQs) might put you to the test with a river raise. Plus like I said earlier, old lady is calling with any part of the board in a pot this large.
