Did you give any consideration to screw-playing this turn? He'd have to have a lot of hand to call your c/r, and you have a lot of outs even against a lot of hand.
My reasoning is that you might as well maximize fold equity here, and on this sort of board, your 3-betting range seems like it might fit in really weirdly with it, so he might test you with a hand like KT or AT but get to showdown even when 3-bet. If you c/r him, he might be better able to give you the benefit of the doubt and fold KT/AT.
