Default Re: Learning from the \"fish\"

[ QUOTE ]
Everyone has been a victim of this typical fish play. You raise PF - fish calls. You miss the flop but bet your KQ overs - fish calls. Turn - the same. River you give up and check - fish bets.

So this is my hand from a Ladbrokes 6-max table.
I am on BB with 79s. CO (26/18/2) open raises, folded to me - I call.
Flop is 68Jr. CO bets - I call
Turn is a 2 (no FD for me). CO bets - I call
River is a 4. CO checks - I bet

Pretending that you actually have position in this one, I don't know why you're betting this.

In your pre-example, the fish bets the river on the end usually when he has a pair of somethings, not as a pure bluff. For you to bet here, you need to know that fish is the sort to bet UI overcards on the flop and turn, but will fold A-high on the river to a bet.
