Upon reflection, betting seems like a good idea as you might have fold equity and there is a chance jason has the best hand - CO only called the flop bet. When CO raises the turn bet though, fold equity goes to almost zero, and I have to think the CO might have a made pair if not trips. If he has an eight or ten, hero has 18 outs and is a 26:18 or 3:2 dog. If he has a Queen, hero has 12 outs and is a 32:12 or 5:2 dog. I don't think a turn three bet has enough potential value.
