What if you had the old pro covered?

Well, if the old pro bets ~$1000 into a ~$100 pot and all I have is an overpair, I probably fold unless you've seen him do this to others with pure flush draws (not a pair and a draw), TPWK, or an underpair. Without a read, or at least a strong suspicion that he's running over you, I'd fold.

However, given the relative stacks in the hand in question, I think calling is best. There is at least 2:1 on your money to call the all in reraise, and you're probably good more than 33% of the time.
