He has only played a few weeks, and mostly against nits. The good players have been absent for some reason.

There are probably a couple of others playing recently who he is breakeven against, but like all of us, kkf likes to think he is much better than his opponents even when that may not be the case.

Obviously there is a difference between knowing every play 2-3 handed, and 4-6 handed. If you play enough you will build up a playbook of hands. I have probably seen every possible situation 4-6 handed. Of course you must mix it up and deviate from these from these, but you are unlikely to run into any situation where you are totally befuddled.

Playing high and very short against very good players is obviously going to be daunting. Give it some more time and I'm sure you'll be totally comfortable.
