I don't really understand why I should be concerned. There is plenty of other sports they can play and no one is stopping them from playing baseball.

The baseball itself is unimportant. What I imagine Boris is lamenting is the attitude of "I don't want to do this because it's too white," which is much more general and suggests deeper racial division, which is where the problems actually would be.
