I'm retarded but is 50 yards in CFL equal to 50 yards in NFL?

Wind? Arena or Open field?

Also, Must say that 50 yards in the NFL is longer than 50 since the goal post is at the end of the end zone (no clue how long the end zone is)

Still, 50 yards is absurdly long without the added pressure of a million on the line.
