I used to do it a lot but I kicked the habit. Solid players simply don't raise with overs in that situation. Your only hope here is that he raised with 88-99 and will drop it to your 3-bet or on the turn (this also seems unlikely somehow). If you have a read on the guy that says "raises flop with overs too often" then I can definitely see merit to your play. Otherwise I think the c/r wins.
