Well, ignoring her will clearly make her even more upset! Trust me, it's taken as you don't give a sh**... Women Do need (and it's usually required, sigh) to be coaxed into expressing what's going on. Try to extend the proverbial olive branch and try to sincerely & calmly ask her to reveal her distress... and don't give up - sounds like this isn't something you'd want to lose her over???
