Having Roberts in place of a liberal Kerry selection is enough for me to stay the course. Additionally there are the added benefits of not having any tax cuts ruled back which Kerry would have attempted.

Agreed. Having two more 'Ruth Bader-Ginsbergs' would have guaranteed a liberal Supreme Court for the next 30 years.
I guess I still have hope that GWB pulls his head out of his ass and goes back to doing things like he did in term 1.

No Bush43 is stubborn to a fault. This is good in staying the course on the Iraq War but bad in other ways.
