i'm missing the point of your question.

I answered his real question which is:
"I stole a nice sum of money, can I use this money to get rich in poker or should I continue to steal money?"

[/ QUOTE ]

methinks there is something personal going on here that the rest of us are not privy to?

Good observation . He stole a minor sum from me, so I did a little investigation. He has a decent paid job but it is not enough to pay for his gambling addiction so he also borrows/steals money from relatives and others. Much of the money he tilts away in high limit poker. A sad man.

"stole" - as in borrowed without intention of repayment, as in taking by force at gunpoint, as in lifting your wallet?
OR
"stole" - as in "he sat at a 25/50 NL table with 40BB, folded 18 hands, then pushed all in. He had KK I had AA, he cracked my AA, took my $2k, then left the table"

If its the first that's a significant accusation.

If its the second .. sucks for you, let it go.
