I may be called a 'liberal' (despite being an anarchist)
but I still agree that the 'left' does not seem to
understand this issue.

Why doesn't the right think overturning Roe vs. Wade
will lead to banned abortions? Because that would be
political SUICIDE. The abortion issue is what powers
the right wing vote. They keep promising pro-life, and
they keep getting votes, but if they were actually to
ban it then there would be a mutiny from all those
supposed religious families where their daughters are
popping the pill and going in for abortions. Abortion
goes away then all they can do is go around and promise
no [censored] marriages...and as we have all seen the states
have been REAL QUICK to get those civil union laws in. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
