Default Check-calling in the big blind

20/40 live, seven-handed. Both hands are headsup with the only loose aggressive player at the table. How often is this passive style of play correct?

Hand 1: MP opens. All folded to me in BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I call.

FLOP: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I check, MP bets, I call.

TURN: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check, MP checks.

RIVER: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I check, MP bets, I check-raise. MP thinks a bit and calls.

Hand 2 (one orbit later): MP opens, all folded to me in BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], I call.

FLOP: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I check, MP bets, I call.

TURN: K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, MP bets, I call.

RIVER: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

MP rechecks his cards real quickly. I check, MP bets, I call.
