Both teams strength is on the defensive side of the ball so I don't expect too many points from either of them. That alone makes me look hard at +3.5.
Alabama was impressive against Florida two weeks ago but the Gators are the only decent team they have faced so far. Vols have faced much tougher competition. In addition, Tide's best receiver Prothro is out.
Looking ahead, the Tide's next two games are against Utah St. & Miss. St before they get LSU at home and then finish against an Auburn team that's nothing special this year. So if they win this one they stand a fair chance of going 11-0. I just can't see that happening. I'm taking Tennessee. Small wager though. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
