$1/2 NL in a real casino might be a touch harder than 10c/25c online, but probably not by much. the usual conversion rate from computer to B&M is between 5x and 10x the equivalent stakes.

if you want to reduce risk, buy in for a short stack like $40 instead of $100. this way you don't have to go into the tank for big bet decisions after the turn, and yet you can still have the best of it before and after the flop.

not much for AC in terms of coupons. you can get a bunch of 2-for-1 buffet vouchers in the back of the American Casino Guide, or Casino Player magazine funbook (available to subscribers and occasionally on ebay). many casinos offer loss rebates for new slot players, anywhere from $100 up to $250. this is a risk-free opportunity to hit a small jackpot on the house. if you lose, they mail you a voucher for the difference and you cash it in on your next trip.
