this is exactly right. that is what is meant by the statement that the brain cannot process it. even when you stare at it visually, the brain is ignoring it because of the "ov" effect.

What I've been told is that you process "OF" as a single symbol, so when you try to go symbol-for-symbol looking for each "F", you skip right over "OF" as a symbol which is not equal to "F".
