I think villian is leading out with any 2 cards given his aggressiveness postflop. If he's seeing 64% of the flops and betting nearly 75% of the time postflop (when it's likely he hits a pair or better 40% of the time), there's an excellent chance he has absolutely nothing, particularly when checked to on the button.
