Default Re: Good player 3 bets yourJJ when you try to isolate bad players.

I probably play it the same, and fold.

Something to think about though is, if BAD1 calls pre you are getting it in on any flop obviously. But what about BAD2? I think you should plan ahead, since you have the power, choose exactly how much you want BAD2 to have left in his stack relative to the pot if he calls. Do you want him to have exactly 1 pot bet? 1.5? 2, so you can get away from a bad flop?

Hi HotPants,

You raise a very good point, I didn't think about how much to leave BAD2 with!

I want BAD1 and BAD2 to call with the crap they probably have. But I also want to shut out the good players.

I think I want to get away from the flop if an Ace hits. I will bet/fold to a reraise if an K or Q hits. This another reason to just pot it rather than really overbet here. I will be any other flop, about 3/4 of the pot or so. So I'd like BAD2 to have about the size of the pot left?
