You failed to mention his went to showdown %. If it was 30-40% or lower, I would've bet the turn and taken the free showdown. Less than 30, and I would've bet the river, too.
Since he was a LAG, though, I'm going to assume that he had a higher than 40% WtSD. I think you played it fine, he plays so many trash hands that there's a good chance he paired up. I'm not sure if this is worth calling with king high getting 5:1.
