Their response to me in regards to this problem:

Dear Mr XXXXX,
We would like to inform you that unfortunately, last night technical problems were encountered with the cashier and transfering money to and from poker.
Due to this the cashier has been disabled for all poker transactions and the poker provider hopes to have resolved and cleared the problem as soon as possible.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

I think by "technical problems" they are referring to the sudden high demand for cashouts.
