It doesn't matter who is in charge -- what you have pointed out shows the dangerous mindsets that people can have that EITHER SIDE (I believe they are one in the same these days, but that is another topic) can use to destroy the constitution and truth of what we stand for....
There should not even be a question as to weather this is right or wrong...basic high school history would tell you (or used to tell you) that this is just wrong flat wrong. I hope this checks and balances work like they should here, or we are all doomed....
