when you check raised the flop, he's got position and needs to put 150 into a 400 pot. if he's got AdAx or a set, he's feeling priced in (or think's he's in the lead) and if he's got the flush already, he's sure he'll stack you.

with that board, half the deck is a turn scare card. i dont hate calling the flop, calling the turn and betting a blank river. if you're going to take the intiative on the flop, lead out instead of making a small check raise. if you really want to check raise, the turn is a much better place to do it since he'll likely have a very live hand on the flop if he stays around and short of pushing, it's hard to make him make a big mathematical error on teh flop.
