Maybe it's just me, but I don't like the play preflop. I would push or maybe just call. I don't see the point of betting half my stack.. makes it too hard to fold. And if it's hard to fold because of how much you've bet, why not just push and increase the chance he will fold (note: is this "fold equity"? I'm discussing here? I've been meaning to ask).
