after i hear a strange voice, i often instantly say: "sorry, i think i;ve dialed the wrong number"
sometimes i ask for a name and then appologize. its less awkard.
what i totally detest are jackass who call and then reailze its a wrong number and then are rude after your are polite, even in the face of thier own stupidity
