How 'bout dialing the wrong friend. As in if you mean to call "Quagmire" for instance, and you call "Joe". Do you try to play it off like you meant to call or just tell them you screwed up?

No, I do this all the time. It's really not a big deal, just kinda sa "whoops, sorry, meant to call Quagmire." My girlfriend's phone was broken for a little while and when she would go through her phonebook to call someone, she'd find the person and her phone would dial a completely random different person and it's really not a big deal.
