I did not consider sets possible and I considered two pair unlikey. There was nothing but limping preflop. So I did NOT fear a pocket pair that had become a set. And actually I doubted that anyone would have limped with 34. Maybe his 34 was suited ? My best guess as to what he had was 89suited. So I laid down a tie. When you have rags that are barely worth the $3 completion of the SB into a $40 pot it is hard to believe that someone paid $5 into a pot that was $7 or $12 when he limped.

Thought I messed up. I totally did not expect a bet from this guy, bad read, surprise bet led to foolish laydown.
