Default Re: A book to help me in multiple game tournaments

[ QUOTE ]
I want to learn multiple poker games to get me ready to play multi-games tourneys like HORSE (mainly not to be known as just another Hold'em player). Is there a book or a set of books that can help me do this.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, there are books that will help you. 2+2 publishes a book that covers each of the HORSE games quite well (and in only four books!) I recommend that series.

I was thinking Super System and Super System 2 but is there anything else I can use. Play Poker like the Pros, perhaps?

SS2 is worthwhile, and it will definitely help here, but several of the HORSE games aren't covered. If you're going to spend the money on both SS1 and SS2, it would cost little extra to buy the 2+2 series, and those books will help you more, IMHO.

I can't recommend PPLtP as a substitute for better books on each of the games, but if you've already read those, there are a few ideas in this book that are worth reading.

If you only have three hours to read before playing in a HORSE tournament, and you haven't read anything on any of these games then Fred Renzey's "77 Ways to Get the Edge at Casino Poker" isn't bad, but it's not as good as the 2+2 library.
