it strikes me as possible that he saw that somebody had 3 cards or only 1 card or two players cards got mixed up (or whatever)
He just looked over and saw this situation and THEN ruled a mid-deal.
It seems strange that he would LATER decide it was a mis-deal after the hand had already started without any other problem having occured.
What did he say when the floor came over?
Did he say that it was ONLY because of the 1st card being exposed?
Something doesn't seem right here.
