Default Re: don\'t know anything about macs, help?

[ QUOTE ]
im in the market for a new laptop and was looking at the apple iBooks. problem is i really know nothing about them.

as a lifelong pc user, if i were to get one what kind of problems would i run into?

Macs are generally more problem free than PC's, and much easier/intuitive to use, especially with multimedia applications.

downside: only a couple poker clients run on Mac, and lots of specialized software may not be available for Mac. basically, your selection of add-ons is more limited, and often more expensive.

Mac's are great, and if it wasn't for poker,I would buy one.
