So, he could have any 2 cards here or he could be a tight-wad.

Let's say his hand range is:

22+, A2+, Any 2 broadway, T9/J9/Q9/K9

And let's say shortstacks calling range is:

55+, A7+, QJ/KT/KJ/KQ+

I would think you should have enough equity to call with KJs profitable.
