Interestingly, I looked at my PT stats and I am in the red when I call on the flop (and I am well into the green when I bet/raise on the flop).

Btw, after reading Schoomaker's article on tilt, my game has become much better.

I also recommend his other articles on Cardplayer, such as Overestimating Our Abilities and Anger Management. These articles, IMHO, are a necessary complement to any 2+2 books.
