This movie is beyond awful. I liked it better as Fight Club, Identity, Secret Window, High Tension, that crappy one with De Niro, and 30 other piece of [censored] movies.

No, Machinist is better than all those movies because it is more substance to it than just the gimmick. I think most people aren't able to look past the twist since they've seen something similar so many times. This is truly a great movie.
