In my opinion, you're committing yourself way too much if you call this. If you re-raise, you're definitely pot committed and you're only going to get a call from a hand that beats you. Smooth calling gives you all kinds of trouble if the flop has any overcards. Even if it doesn't, you could easily be behind. I muck and move on.
