Yeah there is that silly law. But they don't time exactly when people buy chips. I believe the way it works is you can only buy $500 between predetermined 2 hour intervals. Like you could buy $500 between 6-8pm and then again from 8-10pm. So you could buy $500 at 7:55 and then another $500 at 8:05. I hope that made sense. Alot of people will just color up when they leave and keep several black chips on hand so they don't ever have to worry about the limit.
