Default Re: Poker Rooms in Vegas

If you play NL, the Luxor's system is horrible. Max is $50 for blinds of $1-1-2. And what happens when you win a hand? $1 tip to a dealer. Or when the cocktail waitress comes around. Not worth it.

I'd also try the Stratosphere's poker room, which has $2/4 (and up, depending on demand, but mainly $2/4) and NL $1/2 ($200 max) tables. It's pretty friendly for beginners.

If you have a way to get there, the Tuscany's new poker room has these morning $300 freerolls (top 3 places pay). I think they're M-Th though. Registration starts at 8 a.m. for the 10:30 a.m. tournament, 40 players max. The Tuscany is on Flamingo near Bally's.
