The fact that MP1 called your bet and not SB is very concerning to me especially since the board paired the top card. Since your raise wasn't too big preflop, it's not out of the question that MP1 has a hand like T9s or A9s or 99, 88 or xx. The other likely hands for MP1 are a flush draw or straight draw. The problem with the push is that a flush draw and straight draw are going to fold most likely and you will only be called by the former hands. The 2nd problem is your stack size, if you bet any amount 1/2 the pot or over, you're pretty much committed to the hand. Checking behind can't be right on this board, so I'd probably push it in like you and roll the dice. Sure put yourself in a awkward position though.
