Yes, I read most of that thread. I enjoyed your responses and points. I understand why the thread evolved the way it did. And just for the record, I have, over the years, learned much from your usually cogent posts.

Vietnam - it feels like a giant train wreck all done in slow motion in my mind - and like a sickly darkness that disturbs my entire early years, with repercussions that still reverberate. I'm sure many feel the same way.
