Tell the moderator to make a catch-all "What book should I read?" sticky.

This has been suggested over and over. Mason has said it won't happen and seems unwilling to bend on this. But here's an idea...How about people just actually read a few thread titles before asking questions.

How about a "Read This Before Posting" sticky:

1. Dear Newb: Whatever your question is, believe it or not, it has been asked and answered.

2. Browse through the threads here for the last week. If it isn't there, do a search.

3. To do a search, ...(instructions)...

4. Please do not post that the search function sucks. That has been posted 286403 times before, usually by people who don't know how to use it and are too lazy to ask. It works.

5. Post your question with an explanation of what you tried and what you came up with.

6. Do not ask: "What is the best book for XYZ games" with no additional information. The best book depends on your experience, current level, other books you have read, etc. Ultimately, only you can decide the best book for you. Do your homework.

7. Do not blindly believe anything you read here. Any given book has people who love it and people who hate it. Also, a book that was great for the person recommending it might be a disaster for you. Take the recommendations and do further research. Look for threads about the book, look for reviews else where, etc. Make up your own mind. Think.
