Your advice may be better, but your ability to explain it probably wouldn't. I've never met Tommy either, but I think he'd make a great teacher. He has flair and stlye, and so when he writes something it sticks. Your advice may be better, but for most people it would probably wash over them. The 'best' in any profession often make for lousy teachers.
