His point is pretty clear. If I 3bet flop, what hands call? A set or the straight, right? Most players would muck an overpair or AJ. So why would I want to do that? I wouldn't. I would let him off easy or cost myself a ton of chips before sucking out on the turn. You gotta think about what hands he will call with not just the strength of your own hand...
