Re: Jackpot blackmail
In most places I've played, discussion of the jackpot during a live hand voids the jackpot for that hand. This rule should prevent this type of behavior.
Frankly, if I was the guy getting strong armed and I knew I had the bad beat, I would agree and then re-neg with these douches. If I am playing slots next to someone who hits a progressive should I threaten them unless they agree to split with me?? After all, I am playing the progressive too and am feeding their jackpot.
