Why not just have 2 decks and the SB shuffles the second deck while the hand is in play? Then in theory there won't be any extra time spent shuffling. The system you're talking about sounds cumbersome, expensive and time consuming at best, and will only increase concerns about cheating (maybe not for you, but certainly for other players).
