Default Re: techniques for multitabling effectively

Is there a way to turn off some sounds and not others?

This is a must, IMO.
C:\Program Files\EmpirePoker (substitute party skin as needed)
this will show you all of the files used by the client. Play the .wav files and figure out which ones you need and ones you don't. Delete the uneeded ones (all the chip and dealing noises are useless.) If other sounds are needed but annoying (reminder comes to mind) then search the web for replacement sounds. Once you have found a preferable .wav file, change its name to match ther file you want to replace and copy it to C:\Program Files\EmpirePoker.
Presto!
P.s. I recommend Homer simpson screaming as a replacement for reminder.wav
