I sorta like Avril Lavigne
Don't ask me why. There's nothing really compelling about her music. The best explanation I can think of is that Alanis Morrisette got big when I was in high school, and I see some similarities between the two. AL doesn't seem quite nearly as bitter, though. She's really an "Alanis Light"
Basically, I think if I were in high school again, I'd probably listen to her music.
