Default Re: full ring to six max adjustements

J, Greg on his site o8poker.com has a good breakdown of the changes that occur as you move up in limits. Basicly he states vpip goes up slightly, aggression goes up alot, went to showdown stays the same, and won at showdown go up slightly. Check his site out it has some useful info.

I think a 2-3 bb/100 is attainable. I have not been able to get above 3. I always liked shorthanded holdem over the full tables but I was never able to beat the 5/10 short holdem. Up and down like crazy It is what got me to try o8 and I have not looked back since. I play very little to no holdem now. Most of the holdem I play now is in the sng format.

The problem this creates is if you play live most casino's spread little to no o8. Wait lists move at glacial rates so I wind up at holdem tables with a rusty holdem game. Not very good for win rate live.

About the W$SF and WTSD numbers I do very little bluffing. I don't think o8 lends itself to outright bluffing well. However I am willing to showdown and bet weaker hands that in a full game would be unwise. To me this is where the short game becomes more interesting. At a full game it is all about the nuts - at the short tables there is more skill/poker being played.

As far as std dev I don't know how to calculate it.
