On the first hand, I'd probably push as well given it's a rebuy. You'd think the guy would call even with top pair and if he doesn't have top pair you probably won't get any more action anyway. Normally I'd just call his raise and check-call the turn, or perhaps check-raise the turn if a scary card came or I thought he was pot committed and would have to call anyway. But I definitely like leading out on the flop.
Hand 2, I think you bet too much on the turn. Half the pot would be around 1300 but it's probably splitting hairs.
